Drawing
The design drawing forms the basis of your order, both technically and economically. It is the starting point for production and quotations.
Based on the drawing, we will find the perfect foundry for you from our partner database.
Each of our manufacturers is a certified and long-standing partner with whom MKC maintains personal contact in order to offer you the best in terms of quality, service and reliability.
Patternequipment
The manufacture of the model, the cornerstone of production, requires many years of experience, in-depth knowledge and high-quality expertise in the art of casting.
Different materials - such as plastic, brass and steel - have different properties that need to be specifically assigned to the production factors.
MKC works hand in hand with engineers, materials technicians, manufacturers and of course you, the customer.
Perfect quality is the top priority here.
Casting / Shaping
The model that has now been created is used to manufacture your product. Whether gravity die casting, die casting, lost wax casting or injection molding, the highest priority is, as always, quality, which is guaranteed by constant controls.
Innovative and future-oriented, MKC works closely with foundries and engineers to optimize the production process.
The precise realization of your design requires a great deal of experience in the art of casting, as well as professional manufacturers. MKC offers you both.

Surface cleaning
In order to be able to process the castings fresh from the mold, they must first be thoroughly cleaned.
Sandblasting blowers, water jet machines, welding and flame-cutting equipment, cleaning drums and vibrating equipment are used for this purpose.
Excess and residues from the casting process must be removed.
These would be sprue funnels, feeders, runs, seams, the casting core and any adhering molding material - e.g. molding sand.
Surface treatment
The right choice of surface not only influences the visual appearance of a product, but also plays a far more important role for the specialist: the protective layer.
Corrosion, wear and liquids are factors that can significantly damage the service life of your product and must be avoided by correct and absolutely precise surface treatment.
As with every link in our production chain, MKC expects the best quality result for you, the customer.

Machining
The mechanical machining of your castings is carried out on high-precision CNC machines with high tolerance requirements.
The current actual state is recorded by precise lasers on the CNC-controlled machine.
After the interpolation calculations, the TARGET state is determined and then carefully checked.
This ensures high precision in the shortest possible time, even with complicated shapes.
Quality inspection
Graduate engineers with decades of practical experience dedicate themselves to the intensive quality testing of your products. No product that has not undergone intensive testing leaves the factory for the customer.

In the form of random checks, quality control is already part of the production chain in the individual areas of production.
State-of-the-art procedures, such as ultrasonic tests and magnetic particle crack detection, are absolutely standard.
Warehousing
Many companies have been relocating their warehousing to the highway for years.
- Keyword "just-in-time". However, as this just-in-time delivery from the manufacturing plant can be very susceptible to traffic situations, labor strikes or environmental influences, MKC offers you a unique service.
We offer you warehousing in MKC's own warehouse near Nuremberg.
This gives you the flexibility of timely delivery under secure conditions. For example, you can have your year-round requirements for production parts produced and request them on time at monthly intervals and in the right quantities.
